Volunteering at the Village

The Loxton Historical Village is primarlily a volunteer organisation. As one can imagine it takes a great many hands to keep this very large Village open to the public 7 days a week.

The volunteers bring a wide range of expertise to the Village every day. We currently have around 40 people who assist with a variety of roles from restoring and conserving objects, driving vintage vehicles, organising educational programs, partaking in the 'Village Alive Days', gardening, administration, catering and much more.

If you enjoy history, interacting with people and keeping active, your contribution to the Village would be most welcome and appreciated. New ideas and enthusiastic workers will keep the Village operating well into the future!
